We all are assiduously involved in development of our children. We send them to best of the schools, give them quality time at home and obviously all the material needs that be required to fulfill this objective.
However, somewhere we feel that they should get more. This is due to two reasons. One, the current school system in India (atleast most of them) leaves much to be desired. Second, we all have memories of childhood, a wish list, that for some reason or other never got fulfilled.
Hence, at times we get our kids involved in Out-Of-Home-and-School activities (OOHS). These could be anything, dance/ music/ karate/ sports/ etc. coaching and training, hobby classes, outdoor camps, other cultural activities in clubs etc, ....... The list is endless. We also send them, at times for academic tuition (I have seen 3rd class students going for tuition!)
What we present below is a questionnaire to get your views on OOHS, to evaluate the choices you had till now and also to get an idea of the unfulfilled wish list. Your frank answers to the question will not only help us but is also an opportunity for you to reevaluate the status of overall development of your children.
